Halloween

Tonight was Halloween and Kayleigh was so excited about going Trick or Treating :) We walked along with Jane and her girls Grace,Anna and Jo. Kayleigh went to about 10 houses and was ready to take her Costume off lol. Enjoy the pictures

The Japanese do not observe Halloween so a lot of the Japanese kids came on base it was cute seeing their costumes as well, i saw a lot of witches.

Saikai Park 2

Today the girls and I met Jennifer and her two kids to go to Saikai Park. I followed her cause she knew a faster way to get there using the toll road so we were able to get there in like 10 minutes which was nice. We took the kids grass sledding which is always a blast :) Jennifer showed me a different section of the park that we had not been too, this section had a huge slide that you hang down from the top then let go it was scary. Maybe next time we can get Kayleigh to go down while Tony holds her it is a pretty good drop. We had a really good time and it was a super nice day to go out. Jennifer and her family lives in Hario to and her husband is also on ship so it was really nice to hang out with her today. Enjoy the pictures

Tonight the girls and I went to main base for their Running Scared event all the stores and clubs got together and passed out candy to the kids at different areas on base. We had a great time and Kayleigh even said Trick or Treat at a couple of the stations. Kayleigh was a Lion hopefully I can get good pictures of her in her costume on Halloween.

Today Kayleigh and I met the girls at the Ginza to go to an Indian Restaurant for lunch. 1st I had a salad which i didn't care for the dressing,then was tomato soup,next chicken but i didn't like the seasoning you could pick how spicy you wanted the chicken from like 0 to 50 ( i think was the highest) i picked 0 of course. Then for dessert we had strawberry ice cream was nice getting out with the girls. Below is Kayleigh and I with Jennifer,Zay, and Michelle Teena is taking the picture :)

Tonight the girls and I went to see Shorts at the Village Theater it was a cute movie and Kayleigh is amazing, she is very quite and into the movie the only time I heard her was when the giant Booger yes Booger was chasing the kids and she wanted my hand lol.

Kayleigh Time :)

Kayleigh is full of energy these days. Today I had her to the Dr her ear is really infected on the outside due to Ear Rings so after trying all the best kinds and still no luck with them i think we are going to have to give up for awhile. She goes back in a week. We have tried everything to easy solution,14 k gold,nickel free, etc etc. She is a trooper :)

Mikawachi Pottery sale

The girls and I went to Mikawachi today it is towards Arita to the pottery sale they were having there was a lot there and some were cheap others really expensive as you will see in one of the pictures below. This picture was on the wall leading to the sale we thought it was really nice.

Below is a really expensive Tiger plate 367,500 yen equals about 37,000 yes $37,000 for the one plate.

This was my favorite Design of the pottery was the little blue boys as I call them.

I actually ended up getting two of these bottles with Japanese writing on them the Japanese man told me flowers OK lol to put them in cause I couldn't understand anything else. I asked my neighbor Umi when we got home and she said they put Sake in it :)

We had a great time there and was nice getting out we only saw one American Couple there
and it is weird i do double takes when i see Americans just cause we are out of the norm now so when we do get away from base it's nice to see people that look like us too :)
