Tony's Birthday

I had Tony a surprise birthday party this afternoon, he leaves on Wed for 70 some days so he won't be here to celebrate. He was surprised and loved his cake. We had Charlie,Teena,Stacy,and Justin over to celebrate with us. I'm really glad I found someone to do my cakes the way i like them!! Now I have to start thinking about a theme for Autums birthday can't believe she will be 12 at the end of Feb.

China Terrace

Friday was Teena's birthday so we all went to China Terrace it is on top of Mt. Yumihari it was a good ways up but loved the mountain reminded me of West Virginia. We all had a great time enjoy the pictures.
Me right before we left. This was my dinner it was Sweet and Sour Pork was really good except for the onions this dinner was 1600 yen. I also had 2 cokes, which later figured out was 450 yen each total of 900 yen over $10.00 for 2 cokes.

It's Snowing!!!

We woke up this morning to snow. YES SNOW. Schools are closed and the expressway is shut down lol and yes I know what you are thinking for that much snow. Doesn't take much snow here to shut things down back home this wouldn't of even been a two hour delay. Anyway the girls are out and enjoying their day off and Kayleigh got to run in the snow and play this time :) Enjoy the pictures.

We were invited to go over to Teena's and Charlie's for supper on Saturday evening. They live in a Cho which is a Japanese home. It was really nice better than the one we looked at when we 1st got here. Still to small for our family but was really nice. Teena has shown me a lot of Japan that I doubt I would of saw on my own. We had a great time spending the evening with them.

Trip to Nagasaki

Tony and I drove to Nagasaki today we were trying to find China Town but for some reason I can never find what I'm looking for in Nagasaki. So we found a parking deck and thought we would just walk around. This car was in the parking deck and I knew my sister Meghan would love it so I had to take a picture. In the elevator going up to the Restaurant.

We had to take off our street shoes and walk into the restaurant with just our socks on.

I loved sitting down to the tables Japanese style I really want a table like this but can't get Tony on board :( Notice the view in the back very nice.

We went down stairs to the Sports Club to use bathroom you had to take off your Street shoes and put on these to walk into the bathroom. Next time hopefully I can find China Town if not I know we will still find something new. Was great for just Tony and I to be out together for a chance.

Lion's Steakhouse in Imari

Tony and I headed out tonight. He didn't know where we were going. I surprised him with a trip to Imari to go to a Steakhouse Dinner sort of like Shoguns back home where they cook right in front of you. It was really nice we had a full course meal the meat just melted in your mouth lol very nice. Here are some pics of our night out.

This was called The Ladies Set also came with rice,misuo soup, and salad was very very good.

This was the dessert was very good as well chocolate cake with ice cream and mican and pineapple.
