Last of the Tokyo photos

Amber in front of the hotel signAmber and I found Cold Stone on our way back to the hotel in the Shibuya district :)

Shibuya District in Tokyo Japan

Amber and I went to the Shibuya district here was the busiest intersection in the world! If you are an Amazing Race fan as am I you know that a couple seasons ago they went right through this section as part of the race. It was busy when we were there but no over crowded. Below is Amber in the intersection.
Everyone waiting for the lights to turn so we can walk across.

This is a fashion building very popular among teenage girls. The staff in their were dressed very fashionista lol if that is a word but you were not allowed to take pictures. Was a very interesting place.

Sensoji Temple in Asakusa Tokyo,Japan

We went to the Asakusa district in Tokyo and saw the Sensoji Temple it was built during the 7th century.Below is the Kaminarimon it is the first of two large entrances to the temple. It was built more than 1,000 years ago and it is the symbol of Asakusa.

Their were lots of little shops leading up to the temple.

Finding our way to the Hotel

Making our way to the hotel was interesting, but we figured it out pretty quickly. When the door opens jump in don't wait or you will get smashed lol and hold on tight :) Yes all on :)

Pictures during our stay in Tokyo

Amber and Kayleigh waiting to board the plane
Kayleigh and I in front of the Hotel Tony and I at Dinner

Autum and Kayleigh playing at the pool

Enjoying her drink

Cheers

Zojoji Temple

Zojoji Temple is dedicated to Jizo, the patron saint of travelers and departed children.

The picture below is my favorite, love how the Tower is behind the temple.

Here are rows of statues with bonnets and windmills. They are statues of Jizobosatusu, the protector of the souls of stillborn children, and the buddhist equivalent of an angel

Nippon Land in Tokyo Tower

There was a play area for Kayleigh in Tokyo Tower so we let her spend 30 minutes running around. It worked out well for us cause it had started to rain and by the time her time was up it had quit. She had a lot of fun and burnt off a lot of energy cause she slept through all the metro stops and changing trains on the way home. She isn't as light as she use to be lol yes I carried her :)

Ginza Shopping area in Tokyo

Amber and I went to the Ginza area on our last morning in Tokyo, lots and lots of stores. This display was in a Toy Store in the area.
11 story A&F Store, they put their perfume through the vents it is not so bad in the states but this one I couldn't stay in there so long, very overwhelming.

Kappa-Bashi Kitchen District

Amber and I went back to the Kitchen District, the day before we all were there and I kept passing up on things I should of known I would want. This area Kappa-Bashi is the kitchenware and kitchen equipment's shopping district in Tokyo. There are about 190 shops in this area and most stores have whole sale prices. This was the entrance to the shopping. Weird sign, these are everywhere in Japan.
Cups going up the side of one of the stores.

Heading back to the hotel with some of my purchases. My backpack was full, arms full and Amber had 2 bags :)
